SO HELL HAS FROZEN OVER NOW RIGHT??

Today was the day, after months of planning and hours and hours of rehearsal, the day was finally here. The 2006 SPC would be held tonight! We focus the spotlight now on one performer, Wes. For 5 years he had poured his heart and soul into his song parodies. Writing his lyrics and assembling his band for the opening night. Each year seemed to bring a new obstacle for him to overcome. The biggest one being his complete inability to sing in any key that is near anything found in nature. Stage fright, baldness, no ability to move when he was singing, all these thing he faced and conquered. His quest to win the title was here once again and he was determined to make the most of it. So when the lights were turned up and the curtain was raised he went out on that stage with a mission, some say it was a mission from GOD. And then it happened, some called it "Devine Intervention" others said it was just dumb luck. But I call it "The Perfect Storm" of events that propelled Wes into the top echelon of SPC acts. He completely brought his A+ game and everyone else was just slightly off, that's not to say any of the other acts were bad, it's just that on that night, NO ONE was going to beat Wes. So for as long as The Sports Line stays on the air and there is a Song Parody Contest, Wes will always be known as a "Former SPC Champion"
