Mac MacDonald, voice of The Virginia Cavaliers, made an appearance on the show tonight. This was to be the beginning of what was to soon become know as "The Curse". It seemed that every time Mac called when The Cavs had a game, they lost. This eventually drove him not to accept an invitation to be a guest on the show when The Cavs were scheduled to play. And it really didn't matter, football of basketball, it was just as bad for him.

Pat, who had talked to Rich and Larry earlier in the month prior to her surgery, called in today to give them all of the gory details. Larry, having the weaker stomach of the two, almost fainted during the description. I wonder what it would be like for Larry if he was having his own operation?
