Remember the story of yesterday's show? Well, I got up and went to work this morning and my cell phone started ringing off the hook, if cell phones had hooks, but you get it. Everyone telling me I was in the paper, or as I like to call it "The Local Rag" Now I would never buy that paper but I will read it if there is something about me, so I borrowed some change and took all of the copies out of the paper box, I had to have five copies for my mother, and still for some reason I felt like the one getting ripped off. And what do you think I see on the front page of the sports section? My picture with Dan "The Beast" Severan, along with my name in the caption. This was one of the first but definitely not the last i would have a brush with greatness because of The Sports Line.

During a remote at The Neighbors Place Restaurant I was assigned to help The Comrade with any of the little chores they have him do at an event like this. I was doing this as a way to get back onto the show, at the time I was serving out an open ended banishment for some rather unfortunate comments I made about Kobe Bryant and the way he treats women back the summer. All I was required to do was bring Rich alcohol and Larry sweet tea, and in doing this allowed The Comrade to do what he does best, throw a wet blanket over everyone and make sure no random acts of fun broke out.

A frequent listener to the show and surprising runner up in the amature division of the 2005 song parody contest with a rousing rendition of AC/DCs "Dirty deeds done dirt cheap" spun to "Dirty deeds done with sheep" Michael Ernette was MIA when Rich and Larry were trying to find him for the 2006 competition, They were informed he might be staying at the Pennsylvania State Hilton as a guest of the good people of that state for 3 to 6 months. Hearing this, Michael called in and told them his stay had been cut a little short for good behavior but he would not be competing in 2006, he was trading in his orange jump suit for a ring in his nose. He was getting married and would be on his honeymoon during the contest.
